Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CloudEd website at https://clouded.live and all associated services, including Tutors Cloud, operated by CloudEd EdTech Solutions LLP ("CloudEd", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Students under 18 may use the platform only under the supervision of a parent or guardian who registers on their behalf and accepts these Terms. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. Account Registration and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for the same person.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Tutors Cloud — Tutors
- Tutors must apply through the official application process at /tutors/apply and be approved by CloudEd before offering sessions.
- Tutors must provide accurate information about their qualifications, experience, and availability.
- Tutors must conduct sessions professionally, punctually, and in accordance with CloudEd's Code of Conduct.
- Tutors must not contact students or parents outside the CloudEd platform or share personal contact details.
- Payouts are processed by CloudEd after session completion and verification. CloudEd reserves the right to withhold payouts in cases of policy violations.
- CloudEd may suspend or remove a tutor's profile at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the platform's reputation.
4. Tutors Cloud — Students and Parents
- Students and parents must provide accurate information when registering and booking sessions.
- Session fees are charged at the rates published on the Rate Card and are payable in advance via Razorpay.
- Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to CloudEd's scheduling policy. Please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.
- Students must attend sessions on time and behave respectfully towards tutors.
- Students must not record sessions without the explicit consent of the tutor and CloudEd.
5. Payments and Refunds
- All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms and conditions. CloudEd does not store your card or bank account details.
- Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] within 48 hours of the scheduled session. Refunds are granted at CloudEd's discretion and are typically issued for sessions cancelled by the tutor or for technical failures that prevented the session from taking place. No refunds are issued for student no-shows.
6. AI Chatbot (Cloudy)
- The Cloudy chatbot is provided as an informational assistant only. Responses generated by Cloudy are powered by OpenAI's language models and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. Do not rely on Cloudy for legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. CloudEd is not liable for any decisions made based on Cloudy's responses.
7. Intellectual Property
- All content on the CloudEd website — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of CloudEd EdTech Solutions LLP or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
- Tutors retain ownership of original teaching materials they create. By uploading materials to the platform, tutors grant CloudEd a non-exclusive licence to use those materials to deliver the agreed sessions.
8. Prohibited Conduct
- You must not:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without our written permission.
- Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.
- Circumvent any security or access-control measures.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
- Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of any tutor or educational content.
10. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CloudEd EdTech Solutions LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to CloudEd in the 30 days preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] to resolve any dispute amicably.
12. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
